Indian River improves to 5-2 after shutting out Sussex Tech

DAGSBORO, Del.– Indian River took down Sussex Tech 12-0 on Wednesday.

Sussex Tech would get a man in scoring position in the top of the 1st, but Indian River’s Frank Bunting would strikeout the next two batters to get out of the jam. IR would respond the next inning with an RBI double by Roman Keith. Keith would later hit a 2 run home-run to increase the lead to 4-0.

Roman Keith would finish the game going 3-3 with a double, a home run and 5 RBI’s. Frank Bunting threw 5 scoreless innings surrendering only 2 hits and 5 strikeouts.

Indian River has score a combined total of 48 runs in their last 3 games while only giving up just 1 run. IR takes on Lake Forest next while Sussex Tech takes on Salesianum.
