Easton Police investigating weekend stabbing

EASTON, Md. – Easton Police are investigating a reported stabbing that took place over the weekend.

At around 4:30 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to the University of Maryland Shore Regional Medical Center for a report of a subject suffering from stab wounds. On arrival, officers met with the victim and witness, who reported that the victim was in the area of the 100 block of South Locust Street when he became involved in an altercation with two men. During the incident, the victim was reportedly stabbed with a knife in the face and head by one of the suspects. The victim was able to get away and was taken to the hospital, and was later transferred to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. Police say the victim is listed in stable condition at this time.
