Dover house, vehicle damaged by gunfire

DOVER, Del. – An investigation is underway after a home and vehicle were damaged by gunfire in Dover Wednesday evening.

At around 6:45 p.m., officers responded to the 100 block of North Halsey Road after receiving a report of multiple gunshots. Police say the 22-year-old male victim’s home was hit multiple times while occupied by the victim and family members. An unoccupied vehicle in the area was also hit by gunfire during the incident.
