Delaware Relief Rebate Program passes house

DOVER, Del. – Some financial support could be heading to Delaware residents after House Bill 360 passed through the House of Representatives Thursday.

If HB 360, also known as Delaware’s Relief Rebate Program, becomes law, $300 will be sent to Delaware residents to help offset the recent financial hardships brought on by the pandemic as well as to combat rising gas and food prices.

Residents who did and did not file taxes in the first state are eligible for the rebate, but not until six weeks after it becomes law.

If that happens, Delawareans can expect to see the money automatically sent to them following that six-week period.
