Bennett ends Decatur’s undefeated start to the season

Salisbury, MD– Two Bayside South Titans met up on the mound. The Bennett Clippers sent one of the best pitchers in the Bayside to the mound to slow down the undefeated Decatur Seahawks.
The Clippers would win 9-7 behind Jai Sample’s 9 strikeouts.
The Seahawks lead 6-3 lead in the fourth, before the momentum changed due to Seahawks errors.
The pitching was rolling for the Seahawks early but the bats woke up for the Clippers.
Colby Dailey had an RBI double and Jayden Dillard grounded it to short that drew in two runs, off of Seahawks errors, that gave the Clippers the lead and the win.
Clippers are the first team to beat Decatur this season.
