Autism acceptance, bringing awareness to the community, with inflatables

BRIDGEVILLE, Del. – The Carannante’s, owners of Tony’s Pizza and All About Inflatable’s held their long-anticipated inflatable event on Saturday afternoon, bringing awareness and acceptance to autism.

The Carannantes have a son who is, in the family’s words, blessed with autism. While he is non-verbal, the family says his positivity and growth inspired them to host this event.

Inflatables filled the lot with over 1,000 people coming out for a good time. However, they were also there to show support and donate to Autism Delaware and autism-related school programs in the area. Nella Carannante tells 47 ABC, that the event was more than they could have hoped for. “Smiles on kids’ faces and that’s what it’s all about.” Carannante adds, “It’s amazing our first year and we’re very happy with the turn out we’re very very happy and this is something that will be doing every year.”
