15-year-old charged in Magnolia shooting that damaged residence
MAGNOLIA, Del. – A juvenile is behind bars following a shooting earlier this week.
Shortly before 8:30 p.m. Monday, troopers responded to Juanita Drive in Magnolia for a report of shots fired. It was learned through the investigation that the suspect had fired multiple gunshots from a vehicle at a residence, which was occupied by three victims, ages 38, 32, and 14. No one was injured, and the residence was hit several times before the suspect fled.
Detectives were able to develop a 15-year-old male as a suspect in the incident. The juvenile was located in Dover on Wednesday and arrested. We’re told he was committed to Stevenson House on a $21,001 cash bond after being charged with three counts of first degree reckless endangering, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, and criminal mischief.
