Wor-Wic professor receives grant

SALISBURY, Md. – Wor-Wic Community College English professor and poet Adam Tavel was recently awarded $10,000 from the Maryland State Arts Council to support his poetry.

The grant encourages artistic growth, and Tavel was pleased to be one of ten Maryland artists to receive the award, and the only one on the Eastern Shore.
