Town of Berlin announces return of Memorial Day parade
BERLIN, Md. – Berlin’s annual Memorial Day Parade on Flower Street will return this year.
The parade will be held on Monday, May 30th, and will begin at the corner of Seahawk Road and Flower Street. The parade will end at Dr. William Edward Henry Park. This year’s parade theme is “Hometown Heroes”, which we’re told is to honor members of the United States military who died serving our country and celebrate the essential workers in our community who worked tirelessly on the frontlines during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Community members are also encouraged to visit Dr. William Edward Henry Park and the Multipurpose Building property to grab a bite to eat, shop at local vendor tables, and participate in other activities.
Parade entries are limited, and priority will be given to entries associated with the military and essential workers that served our local community throughout the pandemic. Any questions regarding the parade or vendor information should be directed to DJ Lockwood by calling 443-497-3242 or emailing djlockwood334@gmail.com.
