TidalHealth expanding visitation starting Monday, March 28th
SALISBURY, Md. – TidalHealth has announced it will increase visitation opportunities at both TidalHealth Peninsula Regional and TidalHealth Nanticoke starting Monday, March 28th.
A maximum of two visitors will be allowed per patient. Visitors must be over the age of 18 and do not need to be the same two people during the patient’s stay. TidalHealth will provide each guest with a visitation card that must be returned at the conclusion of their visit to the reception desk where it was obtained. If the card is not returned, the patient will not be allowed additional visitors until it is returned.
Visitors are required to wear a mask at all times that covers both their nose and mouth. Only procedural ear loop masks, N-95, and KN95 masks are allowed; cloth masks, gaiters, and bandanas are not allowed. A mask will be provided for visitors arriving with any of the unapproved face coverings.
If visiting a patient confirmed to have COVID-19 or under investigation for COVID-19, the visitor will be required to wear an approved mask, protective gown, and gloves. The patient will also be required to wear an approved mask.
General visitation hours will be from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days per week. ICU visitation hours will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week. Visitors will be screened for fever and other COVID-19 symptoms on entry and will not be allowed to visit if found to have symptoms or a fever.
