Schell Brothers hosting art contest for students, $500 college tuition prize

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – Students interested in art in Delaware can win $500 toward their college tuition and have a chance to show off their own creativity.

Schell Brothers is hosting an art contest for students grades six through twelve throughout the state. Middle and high school students are challenged to create a design for a positivity poster that represents their feelings of happiness and positivity.

At the end of the competition, three winners will be selected and their poster will be printed and sold at The Coffee House in Rehoboth Beach. Plus, the students will get that $500 toward their college tuition.

Alyssa Titus with Schell Brothers says it’s the perfect way to get students involved in their own community and to show off their skills.

“Not to sound clich√©, but kids are our future, and local kids here in Sussex County, and in Richmond, and in Nashville where we are, we know that having them engaged and involved early on is imperative to not only the success of Schell Brothers, but the success of our community at large,” she said.

Entries for the contest will be accepted until April 1st. They can be submitted here.
