Salisbury man pleads guilty to inappropriately touching minors
SALISBURY, Md. – A Salisbury man has pleaded guilty to inappropriately touching two minors at a local business.
Romeo Warren pleaded guilty last week to two counts of second degree assault and one count of fourth degree sex offense for the inappropriate touching of two female minors at Elite Gaming Delmarva. As a result, Warren was sentenced to one year of incarceration, followed by 5 years of intensive supervision through the Collaborative Offender Manamgenet Enforcement Treatment, which is responsible for supervising sex offenders. Warren will also be required to register as a Tier I sex offender for 15 years.
Between August 1, 2020, and May 28, 2021, Warren, age 18, reportedly hit the two juveniles and grabbed the buttocks of one of the juveniles, ages 14 and 12. Warren left bruising on the arm and back of one of the victims. Once the assaults were reported, the juveniles were interviewed at the Wicomico Child Advocacy Center, where they reported Warren’s actions in greater detail.
