Queen Anne’s County police lodge collecting donations for Ukrainians and their soldiers

MARYLAND- A police lodge is seeking donations to assist Ukrainians and Ukrainian Soldiers.

The Queen Anne’s County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #108 is trying to help those over seas who are in need of help.

They are looking for items like blankets, baby products, warm clothing, food, and medical supplies.

They said they’re often looking for ways to give back and they’re now encourage others to join in on the effort.

“Think about even though we are talking about people who are several thousand miles away from us we live in a small world, and if you can help somebody whether its help them brush their teeth, whether its help them with a first aid kit that can help them with cuts, scratches, bruises,” Alex Cooper, VP of FOP Lodge #108, said.

You can make a donation starting March 9th until March 18th. Donation bins will be located at the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office and the Kent Island American Legion Post #278.

They are also taking monetary donations as well that will be used to buy first aid kits. Checks can be made out to FOP Lodge #108 and mailed to P.O. Box 695 Centreville, MD 21617.
