LAUREL, Del. – Police have charged a Laurel woman in connection to a burglary and say a second suspect remains at large.

According to police, the incident took place shortly before 9 p.m. Sunday, at the Lakeside Motel in Laurel. It was learned that 36-year-old Faedra Parker and her accomplice, 33-year-old Junior Dorvilier, forced their way into a motel room occupied by a 25-year-old acquaintance. The pair then reportedly physically assaulted and strangled the victim before fleeing the scene in a vehicle belonging to Parker.

The victim sustained injuries to his head but refused medical treatment at the scene.

On Monday, Parker turned herself into the Laurel Police Department, where she was charged with first degree burglary, strangulation, second degree conspiracy, and third degree assault. She was later released on her own recognizance.

Troopers have an active warrant for Dorvilier on first degree burglary, second degree conspiracy, and offensive touching charges. He also has multiple active warrants for a vehicle pursuit that happened in October 2021, violation of probation, and other court capiases. He is approximately 6’2″, 175 pounds, with dreadlock-style hair. Police say Dorvilier could possibly be in the Seaford or Laurel areas.

Anyone with information on Dorvilier’s whereabouts is urged to contact Trooper Heald at 302-337-1090 or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
