Pocomoke shed destroyed in fire, investigation underway

POCOMOKE, Md. – Fire marshals are working to determine the cause of a fire that destroyed a shed in Pocomoke Sunday night.

The fire was reported just before 9 p.m. at 4723 Stockton Road. On arrival, firefighters found a shed, approximately 10×10 in size, on fire, in addition to a vehicle located next to the shed. Crews worked quickly to contain the fire and say they were able to save a family dog who was inside of the shed at the time of the fire.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. No injuries were reported.
