Delaware State Fair gearing up for their summer 2022 festivities

HARRINGTON, Del .- Those working for the Delaware State Fair are already preparing for the crowds of people they will see this summer.

The event is always a hit on Delmarva with concerts, agriculture, rides, food, and more. This year the Fair will run from July 21st to the 30th, and staff are hard at work getting ready.

Danny Aguilar, the fair’s Assistant General Manager and Director of Marketing, told us they just completed their concert lineup. This year he said they will not have a pod system for the grandstands, the layout will go back to the original set-up.

Fairgoers will have new entertainment to look forward to including a BMX show and a western stunt show. Also, the fair relocated the racing pigs and there will be new food vendors.

“As more and more folks start reaching out, visiting our website, you know tickets selling for our concerts its exciting to see and be part of you know something so large for Delmarva,” Danny Aguilar said.

Aguilar said right now they are working closely with groups who want to help out during fair days. He also said if you would like to be an exhibit at the fair, entries open April 1st and close in June.
