WiHi continues win streak after taking down Decatur

SALISBURY, Md.– WiHi beat Stephen Decatur in a final score of 48-42 on Wednesday night.

The Tribe and the Seahawks would keep this one really close going into the 2nd quarter with the score being 7-5. WiHi would go into the half with a 24-19 lead over Decatur. WiHi’s BJ Cook and Malique Leatherbury combined for 14 of the Tribe’s 24 first half points.

WiHi would go into the 4th quarter with only a 3 point lead over the Seahawks. Malique Leatherbury led the team in 2nd half scoring with 10 points. Jayce Freeman and Jaydon Handy combined for 11 points in the 2nd half.

WiHi plays St. Michaels high school next, while Decatur plays Kent County next.
