Weekend fire destroys garage, multiple vehicles in Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. – Fire officials are working to determine what caused a fire early Saturday morning in Salisbury.

A passerby reported the blaze at around 5:15 a.m. Saturday, at 2710 Old Ocean City Road. Firefighters were able to control the fire, which destroyed a small garage and multiple vehicles, in just under 30 minutes.

Total damage for the structure has been estimated at $16,000. Damage to the vehicles and contents has been estimated at $33,000.

State fire marshals are working to determine the cause of this fire. Anyone with information is asked to call the Salisbury Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal at 410-713-3780.
