Wanted Baltimore homicide suspect arrested in Dover following pursuit
DOVER, Del. – Two Baltimore men are behind bars in Delaware after they reportedly led police on a pursuit Tuesday afternoon.
We’re told officers received a tip that a suspect, identified as 26-year-old Cody Fulton, was staying at a residence in the Dover East Mobile Home Park on S. Little Creek Road. Fulton was wanted out of Baltimore County Police for attempted homicide in connection to an incident in November 2021.
Officers conducted surveillance and observed a gold Honda Accord, occupied by two male suspects, leave a residence in the 100 block of S. DuPont Highway. Officers tried to stop the vehicle in the area of Fork Branch Road and N. DuPont Highway, however, the suspects fled and led police on a pursuit from Fork Branch Road to Pearsons Corner Road, through the town of Cheswold, and eventually to a dead end in the Holly Hills Mobile Home Park in Smyrna.
Police were able to detain both suspects, and a search of the vehicle led to the recovery of a 9mm handgun that was reported stolen out of South Carolina, 7.6 grams of fentanyl, 12 grams of crack cocaine, and 161 doses of Oxycodone.
Fulton was held at SCI on a $287,500 cash bond on a list of drug and firearm related charges, as well as multiple traffic offenses.
The passenger in the vehicle, identified as Hirsi Abdul Budul, was held at SCI on an $88,000 cash bond on numerous drug and firearm charges.
