Stabbing lands Hurlock woman behind bars
4:10 p.m. UPDATE: Police tell us the arrest was based on evidence collected at the scene. Witnesses who were present reportedly told police that the assault by Henry did not take place, but no witnesses were able to corroborate the information provided by Molock.

HURLOCK, Md. – A Hurlock woman is behind bars following a reported stabbing on Friday.
Deputies from the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office and members of the Hurlock Police Department responded to 6233 Rossing Street for a reported stabbing. Deputies met with the suspect, identified as 59-year-old Edna Molock, who reported that she had stabbed the victim, 50-year-old Andre Henry of Federalsburg. Molock told police that she stabbed the victim after he tried to force himself on her.
The victim fled the area and was located at his residence. He was taken to Nanticoke Hospital to be treated for several stab wounds and is currently listed in serious but stable condition.
Molock has been charged with first and second degree assault and reckless endangerment. She is being held without bond.
