‘Paige’s Kindness Project’ provides support for local youth experiencing homelessness
MILFORD, Del. – The Milford community is lending a helping hand to students in need so they can make it through the winter weather.
Paige’s Kindness Project and the Be Safe Food Pantry are working together to provide much needed items to Milford High School students experiencing homelessness.
We’re told the pantry is in need of additional food. Other items needed include new or used winter essentials like coats, hats, and gloves.
Founder Paige Howell started her kindness project four years ago.
Despite being on the autistic spectrum, Howell tells 47ABC that won’t stop her from fulfilling her dreams and also helping those in need. “I just wanted to do something just for fun or just random acts of kindness to see what it would do and it just brought me so much joy and compassion for people,” Howell said. “If you don’t know, there’s homeless and sick people out there. It’s just amazing what I can do and what my kindness project does for my community.”
Howell also has dreams of starting her own nonprofit organization.
