Multiple Weapons Seized In Seaford Arrest

1280 Seaford Firearm Arrest

Seaford, DELAWARE –  On February 14th, 2022 around 10pm Seaford Police were conducting a vehicle registration check on a 1994 Buick Century.

Once stopped, police discovered that Julie Holston, 44 of Bridgeville Delaware, owner of the Buick was wanted on felony warrants out of Delaware State Police Troop 5.

driving was Michael Simerly, 31 of Greenwood Delaware who was also wanted on felony warrants.

Holston then told police he did have guns in the car, police then seized a handgun with a destroyed serial number, as well as a shotgun, small battle axe, digital scale and empty heroin bags.

Greenwood was charged with: Possession of a Weapon with Altered Serial Number, Carry Concealed Deadly Weapon, Conspiracy 2nd Degree, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Holston was charged with: Possession of a Weapon with Altered Serial Number, Conspiracy 2nd Degree, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Holston and Simerly were video arraigned by the Justice of the Peace Court 3.

Holston received a secured bail of $12,500.00 in total and a No Contact Order with the victim of the DSP Troop 5 case.

Simerly received a secured bail of $22,805.00 in total and a No Contact Order with the victim of the DSP Troop 5.
