Maryland reporting lowest COVID-19 case rate, positivity rate in the United States
ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Maryland is continuing to see declining health metrics across the board.
According to Governor Larry Hogan, hospitalizations have dropped below 700, a total decline of 80.3% since peaking last month just below 3,500. The state’s positivity rate has declined by over 88% since last month’s peak, now sitting at 3.51%. Maryland is reporting the lowest positivity rate in the country.
Maryland’s COVID-19 case rate has also declined by nearly 95%, and the state is continuing to report the country’s lowest case rate.
