In-person inmate visitation to resume at Del. DOC facilities next week

DOVER, Del. – The Delaware Department of Correction has announced that in-person inmate visitation will resume on Monday, February 14th.

In-person visitation was suspended on New Year’s Day amid the record rate of transmission of COVID-19 in the community and was part of ongoing efforts to minimize the risk of community spread of the virus to DOC facilities.

Prison facilities will begin taking registrations for in-person visitation this week. Update visitation procedures and instructions will be posted here.

Weekend furloughs from Level IV Community Corrections Centers will also resume the week of February 14th.
