Dover takes conference championship over Seaford

DOVER, Del.– The Dover Senators beat the Seaford Blue Jays for the Henlopen conference championship in a final score 60-56 on Saturday.

Dover and Seaford would keep it close at the end of the first quarter with the score being 16-15. Dover would head into halftime with only a 28-26 over the Jays. The Senators and the Blue Jays would go into the 4th tied up at 45 a piece.

Seaford would keep it close all the way down to the final seconds but it would not be enough in the end. Amir Hite and Elijah Sessoms led the Senators in scoring, Hite finished with 17 points while Sessoms finished with 15 points.
