COVID-19 health metrics continue to decline in Maryland
ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Maryland’s COVID-19 health metrics are continuing to decline.
Governor Larry Hogan announced on Thursday that the state’s hospitalizations have dropped below 500, with a total of 480 currently hospitalized. Additionally, ICU levels have dropped below 100 for the first time since August.
The statewide positivity rate sits at 2.87%, its lowest level since July 30th. Maryland is reporting the country’s second-lowest case rate of 10.8 per 100,000.
Officials continue to urge Marylanders to get vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19.
