Bayside track stars shine in regionals

SNOW HILL, Md. – Track regionals were held in Snow Hill for the first time this month, and Bayside track stars took home plenty of first place finishes.

Kent Island’s boys and girls team each took home the top spot for team competition in the 2A East regionals on February 9.

Parkside and Kent Island combined to take home four of the six relay events. The Rams won the Boys 4×200 (1:38.28), and the Girls 4×200 (1:56.21). The Bucs took first place in the Boys 4×400 (3:42.20), and the Girls 4×400 (4:35.26).

On the 1A side, the Snow Hill Eagles took advantage of home track advantage.

The Eagles dominating the relays, winning the Boys 4×200 (1:43.19), Boys 4×800 (9:14.63), and the Girls 4×800 (11:45.97). Cambridge-South Dorchester won the Boys 4×400 (3:55.43).
