Worcester Health Department to begin distributing KN95 masks this week
SNOW HILL, Md. – The Worcester County Health Department will have KN95 masks available for the public in several locations starting this week.
These masks will be limited to one package per household. Masks will be available at the health department’s Snow Hill, Berlin, and Pocomoke locations.
According to the CDC, loosely woven cloth products provide the least amount of protection, layered finely woven producers offer more protection, well-fitting disposable surgical masks and KN95s offer even more protection, and well-fitting NIOSH-approved respirators, including N95s, offer the highest level of protection.
If you would like to pick up a pack of KN95s from your local Worcester County Health Department branch, please visit the front desk to receive a package of masks.
