Water main repair underway on Roger Street in Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. – As part of the City of Salisbury’s efforts to improve, repair, and maintain the Water Distribution System, the Department of Water Works Utilities Division is repairing a leaking water main on Roger Street.

Work began Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. and is expected to wrap up by 4:30 p.m., barring any unforeseen events. Water service may be interrupted during a portion of this repair.

Roger Street will be impassable to all traffic from Prince Street to Grove Place during this repair, including emergency vehicles. However, local residents will have access to their homes.
