Today’s Forecast: January 20, 2022

** Winter Storm Warning in effect for Accomack County from 7 AM Friday to 10 AM Saturday. **

Tonight, lingering snow showers are possible early under mostly cloudy skies. Lows will fall to around 20 degrees. Friday turns partly sunny with cold highs nearing 30 degrees.

An area of low pressure is expected to develop off the coast Friday night, which could bring snow, especially to southern Delmarva if it tracks closer to the coast, into Saturday morning. Stay tuned as we continue to monitor this system. Accumulating snow is becoming less likely for areas north of Salisbury, but far southern Delmarva could see accumulations. Saturday, highs will be around freezing under partly sunny skies. Sunday remains partly sunny with highs in the upper 30s.

Monday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 30s. Tuesday turns partly sunny with highs in the low 40s and rain late. Wednesday will be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 30s.

Thursday will be mostly sunny and cold with highs near freezing.

Have a great night!
-Daniel
