Today’s Forecast: January 1, 2022

Tonight will be cloudy with breezy conditions and showers likely after midnight. The showers will continue on Sunday, with scattered showers for the rest of the day, under cloudy skies and warm temperatures in the mid 60s. A powerful cold front slides through on Sunday night bringing rain followed by a rain/snow and possibly all snow by daybreak; as lows fall into the upper 20s to low 30s. Monday could consist of a rain/snow mix or all snow for the morning hours; followed by a gradual clearing in the afternoon, while highs reach the mid 30s. Also, conditions turn breezy for Sunday night & Monday. The timing and track of the front will determine how much snow could accumulate on Delmarva. Tuesday will be sunny and cool, in the low 40s. Skies will be partly sunny on Wednesday and Thursday, with highs in the low 50s. A rain/snow mix is possible early on Friday, followed by partly sunny skies and highs in the low 40s. Temperatures will be in the upper 30s, under sunny skies on Saturday.
