The Globe helps local swim team raise money

BERLIN, Md. – The Globe Gastro Theatre in Berlin is holding a Dine and Donate fundraiser for the Ocean Pines swim team. We’re told it’s one of their many efforts to give back to the community.

Owner of the Globe, Bryan Brushmiller tells us Dine and Donate was started to help raise charitable donations for the swim team headed by local hero Jonathan Bauer. Brushmiller says he wanted to support Bauer’s mission to help the swim club all while continuing their mission to find ways to help the community.
and that goes beyond the swim team, it also includes things like helping a local resident with medical bills. “In the community giving back is what’s even crazier, it’s cool to do it but then to see how many people come out is amazing,” says Brushmiller. He adds, “It’s also the local businesses that are donating whether it’s gift cards or hotels tonight stays it’s pretty amazing.”

Brushmiller also tells us they’ll be doing fundraiser nights every Monday and if you want to share a fundraiser idea or donate, you can email, or head to their website.

We’re also told the owner of George’s Bloody Mary Mix is supporting the event as well.
