Shooting leaves one injured in Dover, investigation underway
DOVER, Del. – Dover Police are investigating a shooting that injured one Saturday afternoon.
According to police, the incident happened at around 2:15 p.m. in the 100 block of S. New Street. On arrival, they found a 37–year-old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound on to his left leg. The victim was initially taken to Bayhealth Kent Campus but was later transferred to Christiana Hospital for treatment of his injury.
We’re told the victim is being uncooperative and denied that he was shot when officers first made contact with him.
