DART to begin reduced service level operations Thursday
DELAWARE – DART will begin operating on a reduced service level on Thursday, January 13th.
We’re told this is due to staffing shortages and will take place on weekdays starting Thursday, until further notice. Officials say Routes 5, 6, 8, 18, 20, 31, 35, 43, 52, 53, 63, and 301 will experience a slight reduction in trips during the week. DART’s regularly scheduled weekend service will operate at normal levels.
The mask mandate for all riders and operators remains in effect. DART continues with daily cleaning of all buses, including wiping down buses at transit centers, thorough bus cleaning at night, and making hand sanitizer available on all buses. Bus capacity has been restricted to no standees.
