Berlin house fire under investigation
BERLIN, Md. – Fire marshals are investigating a fire that broke out at a Berlin residence Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Worcester County Fire Marshals Office, the blaze was reported at around 2:40 p.m., at 211 Maple Avenue. Firefighters arrived on scene to find significant smoke and fire conditions coming from a two-story home. The fire was placed under control quickly.
We’re told the home was in the process of being renovated at the time of the fire. A nearby travel trailer was also damaged by the fire. No injuries were reported.
