BayHealth offers loan repayment program, aims to attract new talent
DELAWARE – A local health organization is trying to attract new talent, and they’re offering student loan assistance to get them in the door.
BayHealth has a student loan repayment program for qualified positions, allowing newcomers the opportunity to earn up to $30,000 towards their debt. To receive the money, qualified candidates must make a 3-year employment commitment to the organization.
Hospital officials say the goal is to give candidates who are passionate about health care a push to stay.
“It also allows the students coming in that are new graduates to not have to worry about one more thing on their plate,” Vice President of Human Resources and Chief Diversity Officer Shana Ross said. “And I think that if you don’t start to develop talent early, then you run the risk of not having the talent you need i.e. right now within a crisis or just in general.”
Qualified positions include nursing, respiratory therapy, patients care technicians, and more. To apply and view open positions, click here
