Troopers then searched the vehicle, finding approximately 4.4 grams of heroin and drug paraphernalia.

Eaton was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance in a tier 2 quantity, possession of a controlled substance in a tier 2 quantity, shoplifting under $1500, criminal impersonation, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was originally set to be released on his own recognizance, but he was issued a $5,000 cash bond on his outstanding capias and was subsequently committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institute.
