Oates leads Gulls to home win over Apprentice

Sophomore registers 21 points, 9 rebounds

SALISBURY, Md- Salisbury sophomore Jordan Oates scored 21 points and pulled down 9 rebounds– as the Sea Gulls defeated Apprentice 75-61 on Saturday night.

The Gulls led 33-25 at the half, and cruised to a win thanks to efforts by Oates and teammate Gary Briddell (15 points, 7 steals). Jaydon Eason led Apprentice with 18 points.

Salisbury is back in action on Wednesday when they travel to Virginia Wesleyan, tip-off is set for 7pm.
