Man arrested on robbery charges

FELTON, Del. – A Milford man was arrested after giving a man a ride home Monday morning.

Police tell us they were dispatched, earlier this week, for reports of a robbery. According to police, the victim got a ride from Samuel Jermiah Latorre. Police say the victim did not know Latorre.

Later, when the victim attempted to pay Latorre some gas money, he began punching and fighting the victim. Police say Latorre took $750 from the victim before fleeing the area.

After a police investigation, Police were able to identify Latorre. Then on Wednesday, December 15th, Latorre turned himself into the Felton Police.

Latorre was arrested and charged with multiple crimes. His charges included second-degree robbery, offensive touching, and disorderly conduct.

Latorre was arraigned by the Justice of Peace Court 2 and released on a $1,200 unsecured bond pending a later court date.
