SALISBURY, MD.  One local organization is on a mission to bring holiday cheer to families this season.

Habitat For Humanity of Wicomico County hosted a toy distribution drive Wednesday afternoon for families that were impacted by COVID-19. This was all thanks to a $3,000 grant the organization received from the Bless Our Children campaign by the Draper Foundation.

Their goal is to spread that cash as gifts for 500 kids. We’re told they didn’t reach that mark, only serving about 100 families.

That’s why they will host a one-stop-shop event Saturday, December 18th at Wicomico High School at 10 a.m. to continue spreading that holiday cheer. Community members are encouraged to come up and receive those free gifts for their loved ones.
