Fire heavily damages Millsboro apartment building

MILLSBORO, Del. – An apartment fire that caused significant damages Wednesday afternoon is under investigation in Sussex County.

Shortly before 12 p.m., firefighters responded to the blaze in the 32000 block of Shoppes at Long Neck Boulevard in Millsboro. We’re told the building was occupied at the time of the fire, but everyone was able to escape without injury.

State fire investigators were called to the scene and are currently investigating the cause and origin of the blaze. Damage has been estimated at $50,000.
