Fire destroys vacant Talbot Co. home, investigation underway
TILGHMAN, Md. – A vacant Talbot County home was destroyed by a fire late Tuesday night.
The fire was reported just before 11 p.m., at 5264 Black Walnut Point Road. The two-alarm blaze took more than 50 firefighters nearly two and a half hours to control.
State fire investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire, which caused an estimated $200,000 in damage.
