Cambridge house fire under investigation
CAMBRIDGE, Md. – Maryland fire marshals are investigating a fire that heavily damaged a Cambridge home Monday evening.
The fire was reported just after 6:30 p.m., at 620 School House Lane. Firefighters responded to the two-alarm blaze, which took 45 minutes to control.
Fire investigators have determined that the fire began in a second floor bedroom, but the cause remains under investigation. Total damage has been estimated at $175,000.
