TidalHealth honors Salisbury nurse with Sunshine Award

SALISBURY, Md. – TidalHealth Peninsula Regional recently honored patient care technician Alia Agha with the Sunshine Award for Outstanding CNAs, PCAs, and PCTs.

Agha works in the progressive care unit at the Salisbury location and was honored after a patient’s family member took the time to write a nomination for an act of kindness.

“My family and I were withdrawing care for my mother. We were stressed and it had been hours. We were exhausted. Alia went above and beyond and brought us coffee. This simple gesture made a very bad night so much better. Her generosity touched us all.”

Agha was honored in ceremonies before her coworkers and received fresh flowers, a pin, and a certificate recognizing her exceptional care.
