Del. Insurance Commissioner, Lt. Governor to hold COVID and flu vaccine clinic


DOVER, Del. – Delaware’s Lieutenant Governor and Insurance Commissioner have announced a public COVID vaccine and flu shot clinic in Dover.

The clinic will be held on Thursday, November 18th, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m., at the Delaware Department of Insurance’s Dover Office. All three vaccines will be available at the event. Pfizer will be provided to eligible residents 5 years and older, Moderna for those 12 and older, and Johnson & Johnson for those 18 and older. All levels of vaccination will be offered, including first, second, third, and booster doses.

Flu shots will also be available at this event for those 6 months and older. High-dose flu shots for those 65 and older will also be available at no charge with a Medicare card. Minors will need consent from a parent or guardian to receive their shot.

Residents should bring their photo ID or other identification, insurance information or Medicare card, and their prescription or pharmacy card if applicable. Those who have previously received a dose of the COVID-19 vaccine should bring their vaccine card and other documentation if possible. Participants will need to wear a mask and observe social distancing.
