Second half brawl ends Washington-Snow Hill game

Game ended in 3rd quarter

SNOW HILL, Md- The Washington vs. Snow Hill high school football game was forced to end early on Friday evening, when a fight broke out in the game’s third quarter.

With Snow Hill leading 21-0 early in the third, a hit on the sideline prompted jawing between players. Before referees could clear the situation, other players and coaches began entering the area. Minutes later, fans were seen on the field as coaches, school officials, referees, and police looked to clear the scene.

The game was called with 8:55 left in the third quarter, with the Eagles leading 21-0.  Zy Collick scored two touchdowns for Snow Hill, while teammate Trey Adams scored the other.
