Raiders outgun Buccaneers, take battle of 2A unbeatens

GREENWOOD, Del. – Woodbridge walked away as the lone unbeaten team in class 2A district 3 after downing Caravel, 24-12, Friday night.

Offensive struggles have plagued the Blue Raiders for the past two weeks, having scored twelve combined points in contests against Laurel and Delmar.

Ci-Atrick Stones got the Blue Raiders on the board to start the second quarter with a punt return score.

Seth Smart’s 38-yard touchdown pass to Lextyn Wescott and ensuing two-point conversion increased the lead for the home team to double digits.

Woodbridge (6-0) will travel to Milford Friday for their game at 7 PM.
