Easton Airport offering fall open house series, exposing community members to world of aviation
EASTON, Md.- In Easton, community members are getting a chance to learn more about the local world of aviation.
The Easton Airport is hosting its fall edition of the Walk & Talk open house series. The event will offer the community an on-site tour with a behind the scenes look at airport operations. People will also learn the history of the airport and all things aviation.
Airport personnel tell 47 ABC this opportunity is more than just a walk through, as it also allows those interested in aviation a chance to explore a possible career path.
“Also we have some folks that come here that are very interested in flying, very interested on how to work on planes and how to be apart of aviation in general,” said Business & Marketing Coordinator Jeff Lankford. “There are a lot of jobs and a lot of career growth opportunities not just here in Maryland, but nationwide.”
The first fall open house is on October 14th. If you want to attend one of the Walk & Talks, visit eastonairport.com
