Dover Police investigate attempted robbery of convenience store

DOVER, Del. – Dover Police are investigating an attempted robbery at a local convenience store early Tuesday morning.

According to police, at around 12:15 a.m., a suspect entered the Royal Farms located at 295 S. DuPont Highway and approached the cashier, acting as if he had a handgun. He reportedly demanded money from the register, but the cashier refused, and the suspect fled on foot in a southbound direction.
