Curfew check leads to recovery of drugs, firearm in Dover

DOVER, Del. – Dover Police arrested a man after he was found in possession of drugs and a handgun Thursday night.

We’re told shortly before 11 p.m., officers were assisting Delaware Probation and Parole with a curfew check on 19-year-old Brandon Fogle at his residence in the 300 block of S. Bradford Street. During the check, officers found a large amount of marijuana in plain view inside the home, at which point Fogle tried to flee toward the back of the home.

Officers quickly took Fogle into custody, and found 2.2 grams of cocaine in his possession. A further search of the home resulted in the recovery of a handgun, a 50 round drug magazine, 513 grams of marijuana, 171.8 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 13.2 grams of THC oils, 54 grams of THC butane oils, more than 100 rounds of various ammunition, and $633 in suspected drug money.

Fogle was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institute on a $66,600 secured bond on a list of drug and firearm charges.
